Nothingness

Why
the emptiness
keeps creeping into
my soul
engulfing my sanity
hard to act rationally
hard to let go of
the sadness
that's been around for days
just hope to crawl out of the hole
of despair
and hanging on to the
brightest stars
and be home to a
happy feeling
again
